All four Highland Synchronized Ice Skating Teams, Moray Dolphins, Northern Lights, Aurora and Moray Seal Pups did brilliantly with three of the teams taking home Gold and Silver prizes, retaining their Scottish Champions titles from last year.

On Friday 15th March, the Moray Dolphins won Gold in the International Intermediate 2 category and retained their Scottish Champions title from last year. The Northern Lights won a silver medal in the International Intermediate 1 level category also Gold as Scottish Champions. Northern Lights were presented with an additional prize for being Most Entertaining Programme of the day.

On Sunday 17th March, Moray Seal Pups and Aurora competed in their separate categories. The Seal Pups have some of the youngest members of Highland Synchro, ranging in ages 6 to 13 years old. They came 2nd in their category, Scottish Mixed Age, with Silver which meant they retained their Scottish Champions title. The Seal Pups also won Most Entertaining Programme of the day on Sunday.

Aurora finished in 4th place out of seven teams in the International Preliminary category, which is a fantastic achievement as this is one the biggest categories of the event. They hope to go on to compete in another competition in Cardiff next month.

Well done everyone & also to Amanda, their coach, who puts in the hours to get the girls, and boys!, ready for the competition.
